Chef – part time term time only
Hi – I am looking for a qualified and experienced chef to provide high level catering for small groups of less than 8 women (and their babies) attending week long residential health retreats.
My clients have specific dietary needs and will expect the highest standard of food preparation and presentation. We are a very small team of 4 who all work together on all aspects of the business. Your role will be menu planning, sourcing and negotiating with local suppliers, and all aspects of food preparation and presentation and kitchen management.
You will work alone in our kitchen at our retreat centre. The kitchen is not a professional kitchen, however, is an extremely high spec and well equipped kitchen and will be more than adequate.
I am looking for someone who has a specific interest in highly nutritious food, particularly with a focus on womens’ nutrition, weight loss and well being.
You will also be required to give a couple of cooking demonstrations to my clients and answer their various questions during the residential week.
This is not a traditional chef position, however, you will be working in a small team in a lovely rural environment.
