I am a severely paralysed man living in Weymouth, a picturesque seaside town on the South coast of England.
I require a living-in personal care assistant to start in mid-August. I am paralysed from the shoulders down and use a powered wheelchair. As I can’t use my hands properly, I need help with most activities in order to live a good lifestyle.
Duties include helping me: get me up in the morning, showering, going to the toilet, cooking, housework, driving and help with all those other little things I can’t do for myself. No previous experience required as all necessary training will be provided.
You will have your own bedroom, TV, 24-hour access to the Internet etc, and share the work with another care assistant, working four days/week with three days off. Meals are provided free. You should be aged 19 or over, hold a clean driving licence, be fit and a non-smoker and understand basic English.
Pay £150/week
