- Manager for a day care service

- Organizing group and individual activities

- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

- Finding educational opportunities for people with a learning disability

- Organizing paid and unpaid work experience

- Accessing community groups and services

- Arranging leisure activities for the group and individuals

We are looking for a very skilled person with extensive knowledge of running and developing a day care service for people with a learning disability. A background in Occupational Therapy or Activities Co-ordinator would be very relevant to this role.

You will need management skills as well as experience of accessing community resources such as health services, education, work experience and ultimately fulfilling employment opportunities. An insight into the procedure for risk assessing leisure activities and holidays for people with a disability would be useful.

We have a wide salary range to reflect the range of experience we will consider. Please note that this role is based in the Forest of Dean, Severn bridge fares will not be included in the salary package.
