I am looking to set up an awesome Funk Band that will be writing new material and playing a few covers.

Serious project but at the same time I want to have fun doing something I love. I aim to gig, record and tour and need like-minded musicians who are just as enthusiastic as me that will enjoy hanging out, having a few beers and contributing to writing new music!

I have fronted bands before and know what it takes to put on a good show and promote a good band.

Main influences are Herbie Handcock, James Brown, Breakstra, Infectious Grooves, Wild Cherry, G-Love and the special sauce,
Incubus and early Chili Peppers.

The first song we will be looking at covering is 'Play That Funky Music' by Wild Cherry just to get us up and going. The music I want to write will be somewhere between that and more rockier Chili Peppers stuff.

So I need players that obviously enjoy playing funk! -
