An Assistant Finance Manager job, Hereford. An Assistant Finance Manager job, Hereford working for a leading company in industry, where you will be an important part of a team, undertaking all responsibilities relating to the financial administration and cash management of the Company.
Ideally you will have a manufacturing background, where you will have experience in stock control, working to tight deadlines and working as part of a team in looking at efficiencies.

Duties Include:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts including profit and loss / balance sheet.
- Establish and maintain costing system for manufacturing activity.
- Enhance current stock accounting procedures and systems, as well as working capital monitoring in the light of new activity.
- Maintaining adequate VAT records and preparation of statutory VAT Returns.
- Monitoring all aspects of sales and purchase ledger. 
- Qualified, substantially qualified CIMA/ACCA student
- Knowledge of Sage Line 200
- Manufacturing experience  
 
 
 
Understanding of costing and stock control systems as well as related cash monitoring for high volume manufacturing
