Account manager customer service
The company:
This large locally based company operates internationally and offers an excellent working environment.
The role:
A Customer Service orientated Account manager role, it involves:
Handling the day to day administrative requirements of running a major account
Taking ownership of projects within the customer account as part of a development process to become a full account manager for the client, as well as continue with some of the duties outlined above.
This is an evolving role, which requires an experienced candidate with strong admin and customer service skills, able to adapt to changing situations and develop within the role.
The person:
The ideal candidate will have the following key skills, qualities and experience:
A high level of attention to detail
Ability to appreciate implications that various activities/issues will have on the account i.e. “think outside the box”
Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Good communication skills in all areas e.g. verbal, written, etc., incorporating persuasion, negotiation and clarity
Willingness to travel when and where necessary (medium term) to work with the client on various aspects of account development.
Excellent organisational skills involving data files, e-mails and paper systems.
Drive, determination and self-motivation with the ability to work alone when necessary.
Good sense of humour and a willingness to be a team player.
Must have a flexible approach to the role to handle the many different challenges that need to be resolved.
This is a very fast-moving role and the successful candidate needs to be able to switch styles to suit every requirement.
Knowledge or experience of the following languages would be an advantage (in order of priority): Portuguese, French, German, Slovakian, Hungarian, Spanish.
You must also have previous experience within an import/export and customer orientated role
