Do you have experience in a direct sales environment in which leads are generated by canvassers?

We are looking for an ambitious sales manager with experience in recruiting, training and managing sales teams. Previous experience in sales is essential and knowledge of canvassing is preferred. This is an ideal opportunity for the right person to establish themselves as a Regional Manager with the backing of some of the largest companies in the industry.

As a company we offer subsidised energy saving products such as cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, renewable energy, central heating, smart meters and windows & doors. We are working with well-established clients who already have strong names in the industry and we are now looking to expand our rapidly growing sales force.

You will be required to manage, motivate and develop a new sales region. Some of your duties will include training canvassers how to call on potential customers offering the benefits of Government Grants for the various energy products and then training the surveyors how to carry out the relevant survey.
In return a mixture of classroom and field training will be provided with ongoing training, support and genuine career progression.

Is this role for you?

•Responsible for a team of area managers within specified regional area.
•Responsible for managing, monitoring and developing the sales region.
•Develop and understand KPI’s, sales targets and budget control for growth of the business.
•A strategic communications approach.
•Knowledge of direct sales, experience in a similar role and an appreciation of the energy sector would be advantageous although not essential.
•Full UK driving licence with own vehicle.
