Commercial Fleet Underwriter
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £25,000 - £33,000


This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Fleet Underwriter to join a leading Insurance Company in Gloucester. You will be tasked with developing profitable commercial fleet business through technical assessment of individual risk.


Responsibilities:


Underwrite new and existing business in accordance with personal underwriting authority
Negotiating terms with the Insurance broker in order to meet the required objectives
Complete quote and policy work within the Company`s key performance indicators
Accurately respond to queries raised on policies and products
Handle technical referrals from less experienced colleagues
Undertake projects and other tasks as requested by Management
There is one fleet underwriting team handling the underwriting for all fleet cases


Skills:


Commercial Fleet Underwriting knowledge
Ability to be a skilful communicator
Underwriting experience in motor or motor fleet classes of insurance
The ability to assess technical risk and make decisions
Commercial Insurance and Motor specific environments
ACII / Diploma or similar level of technical insurance qualification
