Beaumont House, a 5 star boutique Guest House in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England has an immediate vacancy for a General Assistant. This is a live in position [mandatory] for a single person and no charge for accommodation is made. Duties include housekeeping, serving breakfast + reception. If you are able to help with the preparation of a small number of evening meals [usually between 1 and 5], this would be an advantage. Applicants should have a pleasant personality and positive attitude [know how to smile!] and be physically strong enough to assist with luggage if required [up to 25 kilos]. Applicants must also be numerate, well spoken and be able to communicate fluently in English - this is essential. Explaining Beaumont House rooms and facilities to prospective guests [incoming telephone enquiries] will be an important part of this position.
We have a small team [ten including the owners who work in the business] of friendly multi national staff who make a great team delivering a high standard of customer service.

Hourly pay commences at £5.85 [familiarisation] and will be reviewed after one month. Previous related experience would give applicants an advantage and references will be required. [Guaranteed work hours 36 per week with 2 days off].
