Claims Team Leader
Salary: £17,500 - £18,500 + Excellent Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a Leading Insurance Organisation within their Total Loss department as their Team Leader. You will be responsible for overseeing the performance and development of team of Total Loss Advisors, ensuring that both team and individual performances maintain and exceed customer and client expectations.

Responsibilities


Effectively manage a team of Total Loss Negotiators, leading by example and maintaining discipline
Take responsibility for the training and development of the team
Carry out regular one-to-one meetings and appraisals
Provide technical and job related support to team members
Report to management providing timely and effective feedback on team and individual performance
Authorise settlements for team members and assist with all technical claims
Act as a technical point of referral for all complex claims


Skills


Experience within the Insurance Industry with a proven ability to lead and manage a team of people
Good technical understanding of the claims process
Able to foster good team spirit and develop a learning culture to support team and individual development objectives
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to liaise effectively with various members throughout the organisation
