Primary and Secondary schools in the Gloucestershire area are in need of quality Higher Level Teaching Assistants.
 
The Job
You will be expected to:
·     Work alongside the teacher to develop the planning for all the class
·     Manage and monitor class behaviour
·     Monitor and assess the achievements of the pupils
·     Provide group support, with occasional one to one work
·     Deliver classes in the teacher's absence
·     Maintain the school's ethos and learning environment





To be successful for this job, you will need
·     to be flexible and hardworking
·     good understanding of the National Curriculum across all levels, including particular knowledge of Numeracy and Literacy
·     a subject specialism or particular area of expertise
·     excellent planning and evaluation skills
·     to be competent in the use of ICT in the classroom

We will be looking for candidates either working towards or with accredited HLTA status
