Sous Chef required for the re opening of a Gastro pub situated in the lovely village of Moreton in Marsh in the Cotswolds. Having recently under gone a £300,000 refurbishment, this gastro pub is part of a highly successful group of similar food led operations. The menu is written using the best seasonal local produce available and will have a regular changing specials board. Successful Sous Chefs will come from a fresh food background with volume experience of cooking for up to 120 covers per service, this will be a hands-on position in a fast paced environment and will require a strong chef who can work under pressure on all sections of the kitchen and deputise for the Head Chef in their absence
As Sous Chef you would be in charge of a team of up to 6 chefs and 2 KP's, working under the guidance of the Head Chef. The Group Exec Chef writes the main core of the menu, but as Sous Chef you would have input of the specials board. The ideal Sous Chef for this role would be a proven Junior Sous Chef looking for their first Sous Chef role or a proven Sous Chef looking for a new opportunity.
Full on the job training will be given to ensure further development and training needs are met, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your. Live in accommodation is available on either a short or long term basis
