Elderly Services Assistant (Helpline)

Part-time requirement for an Elderly Service Assistant to be responsible for the administration of the “Helpline Service”.

Main purpose of the role is to manage the contract for the provision of the “Helpline” Alarm Service and ensure all agreed standards are met.

The post-holder would be required to:
• Order relevant equipment and arrange storage, inventories, stock control, etc.
• Identify needs and install appropriate equipment in the client’s home.
• Market, promote and develop the service, identifying alternative sources of funding where appropriate.
• Undertake routine cyclical maintenance e.g. changing of batteries, cleaning and ensure service contracts are relevant, up to date and cost effective.
• Assist in the pursuit of unpaid invoices.
• Complete all relevant paperwork including Service User Forms and contracts as laid down in the Helpline Procedures.

Other general duties would include preparing and presenting reports to the Elderly Services Manager as required and maintaining records & files regularly and in a tidy manner.

Applicants must have a valid Enhanced CRB check. Also, a full UK driving license and own vehicle.
