Commercial Systems Development Technician
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000


A new position has been created within a leading Insurance organisation that will allow the company to continue growing their operations and to improve their services to the Broking market.
The Commercial Systems Development Technicians role is to assess, negotiate and design the product specification and test packs to achieve maximum efficiency and accuracy, reducing cost without effecting quality.


Responsibilities:


The role is pivotal in ensuring that systems within the commercial organisation including direct data feed, software house and broker rating engines and specifications are developed and maintained
As well as developing internal process you will be involved in developing Systems for external parties; negotiating, designing the product specifications and test packs
Presenting results to management in accordance with agreed timescales
Provide Technical training of internal and external personnel in e-trading systems in liaison with LandD Commercial Systems Team Controller and Commercial Management as required


Skills:


Excellent understand of IT processing and maintenance systems
Advance level understanding of Excel and Word with intermediate Access skills
Good communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
Understanding of rating and cover structures of Commercial Insurance products
