Gastro Pub - Sous Chef . Gateway Personnel are recruiting a Sous Chef for our clients Gastro pub in Gloucestershire. This is an opportunity to work in a busy gastro pub as a Sous Chef. Reporting to the Head Chef you will help to manage a brigade of five. The Gastro Pub has multiple awards and you must be able to cook to 2AA Rosette standards.

Job Description

Managing a brigade of five you will be responsible to the Head Chef. Working with the Head Chef you will have input to the menu. You will be responsible for ordering, assisting with stock taking, managing and training junior chefs. This is a busy operation with up to 100 covers on a Sunday and 60 to 70 covers on a Friday and Saturday.

Experience

You will already be working as a Sous Chef or possibly a Junior Sous Chef in a busy kitchen and knowledge of AA Rosette standards is an advantage. NVQ Level 2 in professional Cookery is an advantage but cooking skill and organisation is more important.
