Head Sommelier for Luxury Country House Hotel Wiltshire
My client owns a 41 bedroomed luxury country house hotel with a Michelin Star restaurant.
They are looking for an experienced and skilled Head Sommelier to join the restaurant team.
The ideal candidate would be a dynamic individual with an excellent knowledge of wines and creating wine lists, with a level 3 or equivalent qualification.
Responsabilites include:
To be on hand to assist guests with recommendations ensuring the highest level of service are maintained at all times.
To manage and develop the current Commis Sommelier.
To maintain and develop the impressive wine list.
To order supplies along with full cellar management, stock control, research and tasting new wines.
Providing a first class service within the hotel and maintaining the highest possible standards.
All applicants must have:
Proven track record within a quality hotel environment with three rosette level or above. Supervisory skills and the ability to train others. Computer literate, well presented, polite and friendly. Flexable and Motivated. Also a good knowledge of cheese, cigars, liqueurs is an advantage.
