We require a part time French tutor for September 2009 to tutor AS and A2 French (AQA Specification). This will involve 4 contact hours per week (on Tuesdays) plus cover and administration time. We are looking for a qualified teacher (Cert ED/PCGE) to provide video conference tutorials, mark assignments, complete administration and provide cover.
You will visit your allocated schools twice a year, over a two-week period (October and April) which may involve an overnight stay. Therefore a full driving licence is essential. You will also be required to attend 6 tutor training days throughout the year (September, December, June) at our Head Office in Cheltenham. School visits and training days will be in addition to your normal tutoring days.
A degree/masters level French qualification combined with some experience of post 16 teaching is essential. You are required to be IT competent and have a good understanding of the needs of both educational providers and commercial organisations. NQTs welcome.
