Credit Controller
Credit Controller -Cardiff
A national organisation who are relocating to the area are looking to recruit for Credit Controllers will take a proactive approach to ensuring that customers pay in accordance with agreed contractual terms and cash targets are achieved or exceeded.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and control a portfolio of customer accounts
- Maintain the standing data within the sales ledger system
- Communicate directly with customers via telephone, email, fax and post to ensure that they pay to agreed contractual credit terms
- Ensure that cash targets are achieved or exceeded
- Adopt a 'zero tolerance' approach to 90 day debt and minimise 60 day debt at all times
- Work with the invoicing department to ensure that invoicing errors are corrected in a timely manner and work to ensure that the cause of the errors is identified and corrective action is taken to prevent reoccurrence
- Understand customer queries and take responsibility for their resolution
- Provide cover for colleagues during absence for holidays and sickness Essential
- An experienced credit controller with an impressive track record of achievement
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal English
- UK/ EU citizen or valid work permit
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
