Sous Chef. Gateway Personnel are recruiting a Sous Chef for our client's hotel with a fine dining restaurant in Gloucestershire. This is an opportunity to join a small brigade producing 2AA Rosette quality food for 60 covers in a smart modern restaurant. This is a job that could suit a Sous Chef looking for a new opportunity or a Junior Sous Chef looking for their first step into management.
Job Description
Supporting the Head Chef in developing the menu and covering in his absence you will be a key member of this small brigade. Able to work on every section you will be a leader who can motivate and develop junior staff. You will be innovative with a great eye for detail. Flexible in your approach to work and driven to achieve accolades.
Experience
You will already be working in a 2AA - 3AA Rosette restaurant or hotel. You must be able to demonstrate a steady work history and show progression in your career. Qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery. Some knowledge of pastry is an advantage.
