My client is seeking seeking an experienced Food & Beverage person able to deliver first class hospitality and customer service.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will maintain and improve upon systems and procedures whilst performing to achieve personal and department objectives.
You should be able to keep a cool head working under pressure whilst juggling a number of tasks. You should be a confident and self motivated individual who genuinely enjoys working with people and should have excellent organisation skills.
The role will include:
Implementing & maintaining the food & beverage departmental standards, through a hands on approach, according to hotel standards of performance manual
To assist with the management & development of the food & beverage team
To conduct departmental interviews, inductions, training & appraisals
To plan and co-ordinate the efficient day-to-day running of the department
To ensure that all guests receive he highest standards of customer care at all times
Maximising sales within the department
Duty management shifts
The succesful candidate will have:
A broad education with an industry related qualification
2 - 3 years practical experience working in the hotel industry including relevant supervisory / management experience
Experience of working in a medium to large hotel including running weddings/functions
Strong leadership & team building skills
A good understanding of food & beverage control procedures including stock control
Experience in ensuring compliance with health, safety & hygiene legislation
The Hotel is set in the heart of the countryside at the foot of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. It offers 103 newly refurbished bedrooms and 6 meeting/events rooms accommodating up to 300 people and is popular with both corporate and leisure guests.
