I am a fully qualified butler, household manager and cook with outstanding references. I am English, but fluent in Italian and French. I have lived and worked with animals all my life and am computer-literate. I am also a Cambridge graduate and a successful novelist, with 40 published books to my credit.

I now have a new book to complete, and seek somewhere pleasant (town or country, flat or cottage) where I can live and write in peace in exchange for my services - improving your life, supplying security, cleaning, shopping, great meals, valeting, dealing with tradespeople, secretarial etc. - and expenses. Short-term or long-term.

Fulltime cover supplied but working-hours flexible and negotiable (You have a frantic weekend with many guests? Fine. I have more writing time in the week). Housesitting also welcome. Inordinately flexible. Will pay some rent if required and will graciously accept pay if extra work required.
