A Small Independent School in South Gloucestershire are looking for a Science Technician to start as soon as possible. This will be for 4 weeks in the first instance with the chance for a more longer term contract. This is a part time contract.

The school are looking for an experienced Science Technician who can cover all Science Fields up to GCSE level.  You will be working as part of a team and reporting to the Senior Science Technician
 

Your duties will include the following:
·  Preparation of stock solutions.
·  Maintaining glassware in classrooms.
·  Preparing practicals prior to lessons and delivering to the classrooms.
·  Setting up practicals where necessary.
·  General up keep of Science Technician laboratory.
·  Willing to help pupils during lessons if required.
 
You will need to show:


- Good science syllabus awareness or a willingness to learn
- The ability to work well within a team of technical staff.
- A good awareness of COSHH safety protocol.
