My client is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join their fantastic team based in the Cotswold's, and have asked specifically asked they possess 'passion' and 'integrity'.
This position itself will be working alongside 2 other chefs, so you will be at Chef de Partie level, with the opportunity leading onto Head Pastry - if proven in your work and dedication.
Your main duties will involve making desserts including fondants, soufflés, petit fours, ice creams to a superior standard and also bringing your own ideas into the department and presenting to the Head Chef. You may also be required to do some occasional wedding and function covers also.
Working hours will be approximately 50 hours a week with 2 days off a week, with up to 25 holiday day's entitlement.
This is a position for a very passionate Pastry chef seeking a new, refreshing challenge, who doesn't feel appreciated in their current role. Working previously within a 4/5 star hotel or within a kitchen that holds awards of the excellence of food.
Preferred experience up to 2 years would work strongly in your advantage - but not essential.
For the right candidate, a salary up to £18,000 per annum is on offer, with accommodation if needed on site or off site.
