Relief Sheltered Housing Manager

Our client is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities across Gloucestershire. They have 41 sheltered bungalows that meet the needs of older people who are either infirm or have a disability.
They are looking for a permanent Relief Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager to work a bi-weekly rota (26 weeks per year) and to job share with another Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager.
Ideally the role is residential and there is a two bedroom bungalow on site, which would be provided rent free. They are however willing to employ someone to live off-site as long as they are local, due to the 'on call' nature of the role.
Hours
- 'On call' - Monday to Sunday from 5pm - 9am
- 'Duty hours' - Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 12pm
- Bank Holiday cover from 9am to 12pm
- Holiday cover to be provided for the Housing Scheme Manager between the hours of 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
Main Responsibilities
- Be available to residents at all times whilst 'on call' and to respond to 'call outs' effectively and on time
- Take care of the comfort, safety and needs of the residents
- Provide an emergency service whenever it is required
- Keep records of emergency contacts and next of kin
- Maintain an accurate written record of any maintenance or security issues
- Experience of working with elderly people is desirable
- Applicants must possess an Enhanced CRB
