Myself and my wife have 3 thoroughbreds, one is 16h+, one 15h and the other is a retired horse who keeps the other two company, all three are geldings.

Our main horse is lively, not exactly a novice ride but has no vices and is a joy to ride as long as you are strict with him and don't let him have his own way! He is good for XC, dressage and he has done some eventing.

Our second horse is a retired racehorse and a real gem. Pretty much a novice ride, fairly bullet proof and can do veteran/showing classes and is excellent when hacking.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to help out two to three days a week for riding & mucking out (in the winter) etc. Hacking out together some nights and some light competitions at weekends. We have a horsebox and 4x4 and are happy to provide travel to events.

All we ask is a small contribution towards event costs (fuel etc whenever we go) and a token gesture towards the horse’s upkeep. This is negotiable depending on what you can offer and circumstance etc.

Overall what we are looking for is someone enthusiastic, committed & has some experience of horse ownership or looking after horses. The horses live around the Easter Compton area which is very easily accessible via the M5 Junc 17 (Cribbs Causeway).

Age, gender etc is not an issue so please give me a call to discuss in more detail.
