Hays Education is looking for qualified Teaching Assistants to work on long term and temporary placements.
Our schools in Gloucestershire are looking for Teaching Assistants with a minimum Level 3 qualification to provide classroom support and lead core curriculum booster groups for children across all Key Stages. 

Your role as a Teaching Assistant

- To liaise with classroom teachers and help to prepare, plan and implement activities
- To promote an innovative approach in accessing the National Curriculum
- To differentiate work activities according to pupil understanding and ability
- To monitor pupil's responses to learning activities and undertake assessment and record keeping

Skills and experience required
You must have the following:

- A minimum of 40 days experience working with children and young people in the last two years
- Understanding of appropriate behaviour management and reward strategies
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum at each Key Stage
- Experience of providing support for a range of individual pupils, small groups and whole class
- A proven history of excellent reliability and flexible work ethos
