Employability & Skills Advisor
Do you have a passion for people, and a desire to help others enter or return to work? Do you have a vast amount experience giving advice, guidance and supporting others with employability skills, and can relate and communicate with people from all walks of life. If yes, then we have the perfect role for you.
As a valued member of our Employability team, your ability to listen to our clients, often facing difficult circumstances and understand their motivations will help you to provide advice and guidance enabling them to progress onto job focused training programmes, work placements or progression opportunities - now that's job satisfaction.
There's no typical day - you could be listening to clients and providing them with support to find the right job, attending an exhibition to promote the JHP Group, out in the community meeting with the Jobcentre Plus and referral agencies, or using your local knowledge of the labour market to find placements.
To meet your targets you will need to be highly motivated, organised and able to work using your own initiative.
The JHP Group is passionate about improving skills, raising aspirations and developing opportunities for our staff and clients. Every day the teams at our 50 Centres across the UK offer a wide range of work-based and job-seeker training for adults and young people. So if you're passionate, professional and proactive, you could go a long way with us.
You'll also enjoy great benefits here - childcare vouchers, an employee assistance programme for you and your family, pension scheme and 25 days' holiday.
JHP Training welcomes applications from all sectors of the community.
